Located just a few minutes from Hydra’s Port, in the tranquil Votsi area, Hydroussa Hotel is steeped in cinematic history. During the 1950s, this stunning property was a grand mansion and famously served as a filming location for two iconic films: Boy on a Dolphin starring Sophia Loren, and A Girl in Black starring Elli Lambeti. It is also where Sophia Loren stayed during the Boy on a Dolphin shoot, adding to its legendary status.
The hotel is set on a charming square surrounded by lemon trees, with beautiful views of Hydra’s traditional village. To the left, guests can see the historic Five Prime Ministers Square, and to the right, the family residence of Lazaros Kountouriotis.

ORLOFF
The Orloff house was built in 1796 by a noble Russian sent by Catherine II to assist the Greeks during the Turkish domination. Its name is related to the first revolution in the late 18th century known as “Orloffika”.
The house was privately owned by the Kladakis family for more than 80 years before being turned into a hotel in 1986. Since then it has undergone a thorough restoration, with full respect to the initial structure. With only 6 rooms, 2 suites and plenty of common areas; patios, courtyards, garden and verandas, total privacy is guaranteed.

The heart of the Four Seasons Hydra is the centuries-old stone mansion that stands out from the scenic natural surroundings. Standing between the mountain and the sea, it provides magnificent panoramic views to the known Plakes beach right in front of the hotel, with its calm, crystal-clear water.
RAFALIAS MANSION
Right in the center, part of a real historic mansion, with original antiques in a beautiful garden... This is part of the main building of the historic mansion. It is a spacious bedroom with a small private bathroom with shower.
Some unique features characterize this space as it was the private space of my grandfather, a medical doctor, ex major of Hydra and a WWII army doctor decorated by the Greek king. Of course previous generations of the Rafalias members lived here.
ORLOFF LEGACY HYDRA
The Orloff Legacy suites was built in 1820 and continually inhabited until the thirties. Then it was abandoned, fell as a ruin and became totally rehabilitated in 2021-2022.
The purpose of the Legacy Suites is to offer a luxury modern accommodation to the guests seeking autonomy and privacy in their stay on Hydra, while benefiting of the high-quality spirited service of the Orloff Signature Collection.

COTOMMATAU HYDRA
Situated in the centre of the historical town of Hydra, the Cotommatae 1810 Guest House has been opened as a special Boutique Hotel. It is a traditional Hydrian Mansion which over the past four years has been lovingly restored by the descendants of the original owners who have taken great care to retain its character and history.
MAISON MUSE HYDRA
With Avlaki Beach reachable within less than 1 km, Maison Muse provides concierge services, allergy-free rooms, a garden, free WiFi throughout the property and a terrace. The property is situated 500 metres from George Kountouriotis Manor, 600 metres from Hydra Port and 3 km from Profitis Ilias Monastery.
The property is non-smoking and is set 2.2 km from Paralia Vlichos. The inn will provide guests with air-conditioned rooms offering a desk, a coffee machine, a safety deposit box, a flat-screen TV, a balcony and a private bathroom with a bidet. Every room comes with a kettle, while some rooms here will provide you with a patio and others also provide guests with city views.

Hydra Island accommodations vary subject to availability, but are local and boutique establishments supporting the ARTCINEMA event. Prices are based on double occupancy. Single room supplements will be applicable if required. Availability is booked on a first come, first served basis and subject to change until payment is received at booking. Supplements will be applied depending on dynamic hotel rates at booking. All Bookings are non refundable. Travel insurance is highly recommended before booking.
