Hydra Music Club joined us for our Boy On A Dolphin Tribute evening, presenting a special interpretation of Ti Einai Afto Pou To Lene Agapi (What Is This Thing Called Love?), composed by Takis Morakis for the original film.
Their unique cover brought the film’s celebrated music back to Mandraki Beach, connecting its cinematic legacy with a new generation of Hydra musicians and audiences. Audiences were invited to learn the words and join the performance.
ABOUT HYDRA MUSIC CLUB
The Hydra Music Club has been a beacon of cultural and educational activities on the island of Hydra since its founding in 1985. A non-profit organization that has been instrumental in nurturing musical talents and enriching the island's cultural landscape.
Hydra Music Club boasts a Philharmonic Band with over 40 active musicians, a re-established “Folk Orchestra”, and a "Youth Band" (comprised of young musicians under 18 years old), and youth and adult choirs. Participation is open to all, regardless of age, and instruments, lessons, music education and uniforms are entirely free.
