  • We are thrilled to announce that the acclaimed actor-writer-director and founder of the Giles Foreman Centre for Acting in London will be visiting Hydra, accompanied by 25 professional actors from France, Greece, and the United States.

    In a generous gesture, he has offered to host two exclusive acting workshops for guests and members of our ArtCinema community and Hydra residents. This is a unique opportunity to learn from one of the leading figures in actor training.

    10:00PM - Boy on a Dolphin 4K restoration screening

  • Surprise screening of an award-winning festival film (Spanish language; Greek subtitles)

    This screening will be presented by our guest poets, with a conversation after the film.

    NOTE: Film is in Spanish with Greek subtitles.

  • Hear more about the process of creating a unique piece of cinema from our opening night filmmakers, Faraz Arif Ansari (writer-director of BUN TIKKI) and Doug Rao (writer-director of DIRTY BOY).

  • We honor our valued patrons and artists with a private lunch at Hydra’s Piato.

  • Following the Artists & Patrons lunch, we invite you to the last 2-hour artist studio tour of the event, visiting local artist Tom Powell.

  • Experience Kyran Daniel’s incredible live album “Like the Night Itself” presentation at the iconic Old Carpet Factory.

  • 6:30PM - Souvlaki is served

    7:30PM - Incredible family-friendly short films co-curated with the Animasyros festival

    8:00PM - A special presentation of Malgosia Bela and Pawel Pawilkowski’s exquisite short film about the creative struggle, filmed at Old Carpet Factory

    8:15PM - Surprise Closing Family Film

  • We will officially close out the 2025 ArtCinema event with a live DJ set from two of our artist patrons at the seaside restaurant Omilos.
