Our late Opening Night feature, the dark psychological thriller Dirty Boy, was presented by director Doug Rao. Actors Stan Steinbichler and Ava Merson-O’Brien joined him for a live audience Q&A following the screening.
The film follows Isaac, a reclusive schizophrenic youth raised in a corrupt and oppressive cult. Upon discovering that he's being framed by cult leaders for a series of ritualistic murders, Isacc must prove his innocence by saving their next victim and confront the sect that shaped his life.
Additionally, executive producer Derek Colloredo-Mansfeld, whose family has longstanding ties to Hydra was celebrated by the local community for his work to the film and further cementing Hydra’s legacy as a global creative hub.

Our Boy on a Dolphin tribute transformed Mandraki Beach into an open-air cinema at one of the film’s original locations.
Local performances and special guests accompanied the premiere of Hydra & Sophia: Echoes of the Dolphin. The evening concluding with a 4K restoration of the 1957 classic.
